I study how systems work - whether that's consciousness operating under hostile conditions (poetry) or businesses navigating technological change (strategy). The same methodology applies to both: identify constraints, find patterns, build frameworks that create elegant solutions. I work in Philadelphia because cities are systems too, and this one deserves infrastructure that helps it thrive.
